Your thoughts on the Samsung Glyde, chocolate 3 and ENV 2?

my two-year contract is over, and her time for me to upgrade to a new phone, but really confused about which phone I should (I have Verizon). I narrowed to: 1 Samsung Glyde: awesome looking phone! but it's touch screen (which I want to keep away from), and I heard some pretty bad reviews about them … but its a good phone SMS. 2nd ENV 2: I've heard it was a very good phone, but it looks like a calculator, and the space is the key side. 3rd Chocolate 3: I have the first chocolate model (sucks) but this is flip and they got rid of the touch screen !!!!! What is most important to me is a cell phone, small, sweet, and simple text with good camera and decent camera. i dont really care about surfing the Internet or music on my phone.

hey those r all three major mobile phones! Glyde: I read tons of reviews is that the touch screen is so small (and it is, I store played thus on the Verizon). It is very annoying and frustrating. plus the keyboard is small and crammed with no controls. Chocolate 3: lol I'm with a problem in the decision, if I want to env, the two or three chocolate! This is a very music based Fone, but I think u dont have to use the music function. I have an iPod. IDK if u can iTunes placed on the phone, but I do not want to spend the money on VCAST. Even without using the music function, it is still a great phone! I like that Chocolate three cool looking with the scroll wheel and screen on the front. and I know ppl say its bad for SMS, but if u use word its really easy. my only con is that when u expand its really big (long), but that's not too big deal. (And I have this game with the Verizon Store) env 2: For Copywriters. some ppl say, the small screen on the front isn't a problem, but I personally do not like it. The large buttons on the front are nice, though. if u open it, it has a great keyboard. i dont like how the space bar on the side, however. u and have access to most things, if the phone is open, get the annoying could. Sometimes I want something quickly to disrupt without opening the phone (which u can do, but its hard on the small screen, which is not over a set of options.) the phone itself is not too appealing. it brings out a lot like a calculator! lol! and its really wide, so it could not in the Most Cell Phone Cases fit. (And yes again, I played with this phone store at the Verizon) all in all, they r all great phone, but I would go with three the chocolate. I think I could Get That! =]] GOOD LUCK PHONE SHOPPING! PS. they all have 2-megapixel camera and take good pictures. I know becuz my old wud fone had only 1.3 megapixels and it took pics HORRIBLE!

I need to get a new phone tomorrow – LG EnV-Touch or Blackberry Curve?

I have Verizon – and looking through the phones – those two have the highest ratings. I am a huge fan of LV phones. But I also have always preferred Flip Phones…nervous about making accidental calls with these two…Any recommendations??

Also – y with the Blackberry do you have to purchase an additional plan for the email/internet for $30 a month?! My LG currently gets email/internet and I only pay $5 a month…
So is the EnV – Touch which is so similar to the iPhone from what I read – is it worth paying th $100 for it? And yes, I mostly text.

Yes the Touch is worth getting if you are a huge texter, and when you call someone, the touch screen will lock itself because it has a sensor on the top left.

Motorola Z9 or Motorola V9?

Z9 (Slider): http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?q_tab=reviews&device=Motorola+MOTO(TM)Z9&q_sku=sku1250193
V9 (Flip): http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?device=Motorola+MOTORAZR2+V9&q_sku=sku1030011

I have a Motorola RAZR V3i and I’m getting a new phone next week. I was pretty set on the Z9 but now I’m unsure. I’ve been having some flip phone withdrawal, which draws me away from the V9 but there’s still qualities of it I like. I’m quite attracted to sliders now.

I don’t really care for camera quality, the GPS that the slider has, size, weight, or cost. I’m more into the appearance, texting, and battery life. I like the V9’s feature that there’s a touch screen that pops up when you’re playing music but I doubt I’ll be listening to music often on my phone. I felt the keys of both phones and the Z9’s buttons seem a bit more difficult to press and text.

Between these two phones, which one would you pick? And why?

if you TEXT alot i would not recommend the Z9 since it has weird heat sensitive buttons keys that would take some getting used to for dialing/texting.

Should I get the Blackberry Storm, The LG Voyager, or the Motorola Krave?

In march i’m getting a new verizon phone. i am really hesitating between the storm, the voyager, or the krave. The storm is touch screen, with full virtual QWERTY keyboard. it has a lot of features and 3.2 megapixel camera.

the LG voyager has a touch screen, a flip that opens sideways with a QWERTY keyboard. It also has tv, with an antenna that pulls out from the side to regulate the tv view.also it has a 2.0 megapixel camera.

And last but not least The motorola krave. its a phone with A LOT of features, vcast mobile tv, and the most important part i forgot is that it has a flip, its a flip phone actually, the flip is clear witth a speaker on it. the bottom part were the keypad would be on a normal flip phone is a touch sceen. also it has a 2.0 megapixel camera. I cant decide so please help me.

I Think You Should Deffinatly Get The Blackberry Storm My Uncle Has it and he Said He Wouldnt Ever Go ack to Lg,And Ima Be getting It Soon Too,Heres More Info Over The Storm And Reviews: The new BlackBerry Storm is probably RIM’s most important phone release since the first Pearl became available back in 2006. Why? Because like the Pearl, which introduced the business orientated BlackBerry brand to the consumer world, the Storm represents another first for RIM, the introduction of a touchscreen handset with a brand new interface ready to take on the current smartphone darling, Apple’s iPhone 3G.

Originally known as the BlackBerry Thunder prior to the official announcement, we received word of its imminent release on October 8th when the Storm 9500 was confirmed for Europe – incidentally, the Storm 9530 is the version to be sold in the USA – and word is the BlackBerry will be on sale from October 22nd.

Research in Motion realise how important the touchscreen interface is and have added their own unique style to the system as well as addressing the various feature omissions which frustrate both existing and potential iPhone users. The Storm has its fair share of impressive features and will appeal to a broad range of mobile phone fans, as it’s set to be as competent on the multimedia side as it’s sure to be on the business side. If you’ve held off purchasing another smartphone because you where intrigued to see what RIM were cooking up, then it looks like you’re about to be rewarded, as the Storm looks mightily impressive.

It’s not the first time RIM have made a BlackBerry which will appeal to everyone, but it’s perhaps the first time they have packaged one inside such a stylish handset! Style is everything in consumer world and phones don’t come much better looking than when they are almost devoid of ugly buttons. It’s not just a pretty face either, as the Storm does everything the casual user demands.
The first of the features the Storm boasts which improves on the iPhone 3G’s spec. The Storm’s camera is a 3.2 megapixel item and has both a flash unit and autofocus to take the sharpest pictures possible. The Storm’s camera also shoots video.
